Port of Gdansk Authority SA awarded the Golden Statuette of the Polish Business Leader 2020

The 30th edition of the Polish Business Leader competition is over. This year, the prestigious award granted to companies by Business Centre Club went to Port of Gdansk Authority SA.

When evaluating the activity of companies, the jury takes into account a number of factors, including financial parameters, development policy, innovativeness, environmental activities and social policy. This year, the companies applying for the title were required to demonstrate their achievements in one additional area: the Covid-19 pandemic. The nominees and winners were selected following a thorough analysis of the submitted competition questionnaires for 2020. One of the winners of the Golden Statuettes of the Polish Business Leader was ZMPG SA.

Business Centre Club has been awarding the title of Polish Business Leader for 30 years. The competition is open to BCC members, irrespective of the company’s production profile, range of services provided or ownership structure. The nominations and Golden Statuettes are presented during the winter Leaders’ Gala. Held since December 1994 in the Grand Theatre, the ceremony was moved to the Lubomirski Palace during the pandemic. The winners of the Golden Statuettes of the Polish Business Leader can apply for a Diamond in addition to the Golden Statuette in the next edition of the competition provided that they maintain their position on the market.
